Valley Child Development Center, Crumbling Steps

Valley Child Development Center, the only licensed child care center in Vermillion County is seeking funds and volunteers to rebuild and secure access to the front steps of our building.

The front steps and passage near the building has become a skate board "park" for local kids after hours. As a result the steps have been damaged and are crumbling. We have worked with local law enforcement to reduce the activity.

The steps require repair and we are suggesting a small fence to limit access to the passageway near the building.

By repairing and securing this area, it will enhance the safety of those accessing the building and improve the appearance of the area.
