Download the following applications for which you qualify.
  1. The assorted opportunities have varying due dates which are so noted within the applications. Please send applications and required attachments according to the designated due dates to: Wabash Valley Community Foundation, Inc., 2901 Ohio Blvd., Suite 153, Terre Haute, In 47803
  2. Applications should be typed or legibly printed in ink. Fill in the appropriate lines (separate resumes are not acceptable). Do not use staples or plastic binder (paper clips or clamps are acceptable).
  3. Except where otherwise noted, DO NOT USE IDENTIFYING MATERIAL in your application(s). The Foundation's method of selection is a "blind process" and identifying material will disqualify the application.
  4. Only one official transcript is required and will be requested by the Foundation from your high school.
  5. Unless otherwise indicated, a sum of two recommendations will be sufficient support for all scholarships offered by this application packet. You will need to collect two completed reference forms in sealed envelopes (see page 15) and return them with your completed application by December 15.
  6. All scholarships require that:
    • Unless otherwise indicated, you are an applicant for enrollment or are currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a program leading to an associate, a baccalaureate or a graduate degree.
    • You are planning to enroll or are currently enrolled as a full-time student, unless you can demonstrate there are circumstances preventing full-time enrollment.
    • YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE THE FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA). This document must be postmarked no later than March 1 and is an eligibility requirement of most scholarship and financial aid programs.
  7. Any statement supplied with this application is subject to verification.

Charlotte M. Boener Scholarship is for a student attending Indiana State University wanting to teach at the elementary level with extra emphasis on science or at the middle school level with a science concentration.

Donate in Their Memory and Know They Will Be Remembered Forever-

When you make a contribution to an endowment fund in the Community Foundation in memory of a loved one, you are assured that your loved one will be remembered. His or her name will be added to the Foundation's memorial list where it will remain forever.

Youth Grant Committee Endowment Goal -

In the fall of 2007, the Community Foundation's Youth Grant Committee (YGC) embarked on a fundraising effort in which the Youth Philanthropy Initiative of Indiana would provide matching funds of up to $4,000 for the purpose of creating a permanent youth endowment. On May 12 of this year, the YGC successfully reached its goal, resulting in the establishment of an $8,000 permanent endowment fund that will benefit youth philanthropy in Vigo County... For good.
