Clay County

Roy W. Barnhart Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You demonstrate scholarship achievement.
• You demonstrate financial need
• You demonstrate high moral qualities and leadership ability
• You are a graduate of Clay County high school

Denise D. and John C. Bell Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of a Clay County High School
• You are accepted into and attend Indiana State University

Blair Endowment Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You are a Clay County resident
• You are attending (will attend) Indiana State University to become a teacher

Brazil Business & Professional Women's Club Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a resident of Clay County attending an institution of higher learning.

Virginia M. Buell Memorial Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You must be a graduate of Clay City High School, but are not required to be a member of the current year's graduating class.
• You shall either attend Indiana State University pursuing a degree in any area of study, but preferably business, or study business at an accredited four-year institution of higher education.
• You demonstrate good citizenship through community activities, including school activities and employment.

Clay County Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

Robert and Barbara Deakins Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of an Indiana high school.
• You have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Preference given to a child, grandchild, brother, sister niece or nephew of a current or former employee of Deakins Metal Spinning, Inc. (includes step-relatives)

Albert and Freda Eder DeCoursey Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a Clay Count resident graduating from a Clay County school.
• You are pursuing the study of music or art.

Rob and Lisa Denker Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You will graduate, or have graduted, from a Clay County, Indiana High School.
• You have not previously recieved the Rob and Lisa Denker Scholarship.
• You are an active member of a church, confirmed by a recommendation letter from your Pastor.

Sam J. and Joyce E. Emmert Family Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• Students majoring in Construction Technology or Real Estate (and Real Estate related fields) are given first consideration.
• You demonstrate academic achievement

Kelly Fuqua Memorial Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a female student of the current Northview High School graduation class in Clay County, Indiana.
• You plan to study business.

Harry M. & Rosemary L. Grandey Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of a Clay County high school
• You are seeking training for a medical care field

Harriet Hicks Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of Northview High School
• You intend to pursue a degree in education

Albert A. Landes Endowed Scholarship Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You are a female graduating from Clay City or Northview High School.
• You have been an athlete competing in sports for the four years before graduation.
• You have at least a 3.0 GPA
• You have demonstrated an intense desire to excel athletically and academically.

Roy & Louie E. Lucas Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a resident of Clay County.
• You are about to begin or continue your education at any college, university or trade school.

Martha & Mary Ann Pedlar Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of Northview High School
• You are enrolled in a college or university for the purpose of becoming a teacher.

Earl F. Hopkins Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a current graduate of a Clay County high school
• You are a Clay County resident.

Mabel Kidwell Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a Clay County resident and a graduate of a Clay County school.

Renis and Fern Knust Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of Clay City High School pursuing vocational training at an accredited institution offering vocational and/or technical training.
• You must demonstrate potential for success in your chosen vocational field.
• You must demonstrate high moral character and citizenship.
• Preference given to the student of mid-range in terms of GPA and/or class rank.

Janice Hart Modesitt, R.N. Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of a ClayCounty high school who is accepted into Indiana State University.
• You intend to seek a four year nursing degree program at Indiana State University

Gary and Leesa Nesty Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a resident of Clay County.
• You maintain a GPA of not less than 2.0.
  Preference given to applicant seeking a degree in Christian ministry.

Ted & Anna Nesty Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of Northview High School
• You are ranked in the top 15% of your class academically
• You demonstrate leadership ability and a strong background in extra-curricular activities

Max & Helen Pierce Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of Clay CityHigh School
• You have a 2.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale
• You demonstrate involvement in your community, school and work.

John & Myrtle Price Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a resident of Clay County and have graduated from a Ciay County high school.
• You are interested in attending a bona fide college or university or similar institution on higher learning for the purpose of pursuing and obtaining a bachelors degree.

Brent & Helen Rentschler Scholarship Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You  are a graduate of a Clay County hight school.
• You are enrolled in a college or university or any technical school approved by the commuity foundation.

Dane and Jane Robbins Northview Marching Knights Scholarship

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a senior graduating from Northview High School..
• You are a member of the Northview High School Band.
• You have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Bob Romas Memorial Scholarship Fund

  Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of a Clay County, Indiana high school.
• You will attend an institution in pursuite of a vocation or trade.
• You are considered to be of financial need.

SERCOLBE Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You are a resident of Clay County and currently a graduating senior of Northview High School.
• You have cumulative GPA of not less than 2.5.
• You plan to seek a degree in teaching.

Dedia M. Sexton Scholarship for Clay Coummunity School Corporation

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a graduate of the Clay Community School Corporation

Dedia M. Sexton Scholarship for Indiana School for the Deaf

Richard and Margaret Shattuck Memorial Scholarship Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You are a member of the current graduating class of a Clay County high school.

Everett E. and Fern A. Tucker Scholarship Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You are a resident of Clay County.
• You are seeking a degree in nursing.

Wabash Valley Community Foundation - Clay County Scholarship Fund

Eligibility requires that:

• You are a member of the current graduating class of a Clay County high school..

Dr. Robert K. Webster & Wanda Webster, R.N. Scholarship Fund

 Eligibility requires that:

• You are enrolling in a medical, dental, or nursing school working toward respective degrees
• Preference given to indivduals who intend to practice in Clay County, Indiana
• Preference given to indivduals who graduated from Clay County Schools.
